Tropical Modernism at University of Hawaii at Manoa

It is a pleasure to welcome everyone to the exhibition “Tropical Modernism at UHM.” Inspired by the Docomomo National Symposium, held in Honolulu September 25-28, 2019, and curated by faculty member and Assistant Professor Bundit Kanisthakon, the exhibition covers some of the highpoints of campus design over the last seventy years. Let’s hope that this close look at some of our most interesting buildings will help secure their preservation for the next Hawai‘i Docomomo conference!
